Vanilla ice cream loaded with festive Easter eggs…what could be more perfect?
Probably my favorite Easter treat is Cadbury Mini Eggs. Give me a big bag and I could probably polish off the whole thing in a couple days. Delicious!
Sooo… the thought of combining Mini Eggs in ice cream to produce a delicious ice cream for Easter could not be more appealing to me!
The Mini Eggs look great in this ice cream because of their Easter-y colors.
Safety Note about Adding the Cadbury Mini Eggs
You can choose how you want your eggs in your ice cream look.
You can keep them hole or chop them up into smaller pieces.
For small egg chunks, carefully chop or crush eggs to the size you desire.
Big chunks of any kind of food can hurt your ice cream maker.
As a general rule, chunks larger than a chocolate chip may hurt your ice cream maker.
Don’t churn the Mini Eggs in your ice cream maker.
Serving Tip:
Scoop Easter Egg Ice Cream into bowls and then top with 1 or 2 whole Cadbury Mini Eggs.
