This easy frozen pudding ice cream is one of the easiest ways to make "perfect every time" ice cream at home.
Makes 1 1/2 quarts of ice cream.

instant pudding mix

Instructions

Beat eggs with sugar with a whisk.
Beat until smooth.
In a saucepan, heat milk over medium heat until bubbles begin to form on top of the milk.
Pour the hot milk over the beaten eggs and lightly whisk together.
Pour this egg and milk mixture back into the saucepan.
Continue to heat over medium heat until the mixture thickens and begins to stick to the back of your spoon.
Chill completely – this will take at least 3 hours.
Once milk has chilled, add whipping cream and combine.
Stir in pudding mix – combining well.Pour mixture into your ice cream maker.
Allow this to churn for 25-30 minutes or according to manufacturer’s instructions.
