This thyme ice cream recipe produces a soft ice cream with garden fresh flavor. It's unique, classy, and creamy.
Makes 1 1/2 quarts of ice cream.

milk

large fresh sprigs of thyme
⅔
cup
honey
2
cups
heavy whipping cream
Instructions
If you don't have an ice cream maker, click here.
In a saucepan, heat milk and thyme and bring to a boil.
Remove from heat, cover, and let thyme and milk stand for 20 minutes.
Strain thyme leaves from the milk.
Add honey and stir well.
Cool.
Stir in whipping cream.
Chill until completely cooled, about 3 hours.
Pour mixture into ice cream maker.
Churn about 25-30 minutes or according to manufacturer’s instructions.
