When I first heard about this weird sounding ice cream recipe, I wondered what in the world it would taste like. I announced to my husband that this was the next ice cream flavor on my to do list.
He was a little skeptical of the idea, but said he would be willing to try it.
So I tried it and we loved it! This ice cream combines the classic sweet ice cream taste with a little zing of saltiness for a pleasing combination of flavors.

- 1 cup milk
- ⅔ cup granulated sugar

- 4 egg yolks
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
