- 1½ cup milk
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ⅔ cup cake mix of your choice
- 1½ cups heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium low heat, combine milk, sugar, and cake mix.
- Stir constantly until mixture starts to bubble.
- Remove from heat and cool completely in refrigerator (about 3 hours).
- Stir in cream and vanilla.
- Pour into ice cream maker.
- Mix approximately 15-20 minutes or according to manufacturer’s instructions.

- 2 eggs
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1½ cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium low heat, combine milk and cake mix.
- Stir constantly until mixture starts to bubble.
- Beat eggs until they are light and fluffy.
- Gradually stir in sugar and beat for 1 min.
- Pour hot cake mixture over eggs, mixing well.
- Pour mixture back into saucepan and heat over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and begins to stick to the back of a spoon.
- Remove from heat and chill in fridge (about 3 hours).
- Stir in cream and vanilla.
- Pour into ice cream maker.
- Mix about 15-20 minutes or according to manufacturer’s instructions.
